2,4-diaminotoluene Uses and synthesis methods
Chemical Properties Colorless needle crystals (recrystallized from water) or prismatic crystals (recrystallized from ethanol). Soluble in hot water, ethanol, ether.
Uses for the preparation of TDI, sulfur dyes, basic dyes, disperse dyes, pharmaceutical intermediates and other intermediates for organic synthesis
Uses Organic synthesis intermediates. For the production of toluene diisocyanate, dye fur black DB, vulcanized yellow brown 5G, vulcanized yellow brown 6G, red sulfur brown B3R and so on. The dyes made can oxidize fur and hair directly to black.
Use It is one of the raw materials for organic synthesis and can be used to make toluene diisocyanate. Also used as a dye intermediate, black hair
The production method comprises the following steps: nitrobenzene is used to nitrify mixed acid to obtain 2,4-dinitrotoluene, and then it is reduced with iron powder to obtain crude product, and then is concentrated and distilled to obtain a finished product. Raw material consumption quota: nitrotoluene 1600kg/t, sulfuric acid (98%) 1616kg/t, nitric acid (98%) 760kg/t, iron powder (90%) 2700kg/t.
